Limp Bizkit began in late 1994. Fred had this idea of starting a rap/rock band, so he did, and Limp was formed. At first they played locally like most bands. Their first real break came when Korn played their first symphony in the Jacksonville area. After the show, Korn's bassist Fieldy and guitarist Head met up with Fred and went to his place to get a few tattoos. They immediately became pretty good friends. So the next time Fieldy and Head came back to Jacksonville they met up with Fred again This time they heard the Limp Bizkit demo and were immediately impressed with the bands powerful sound. After that Korn hooked them up by passing the tape along to their producer Ross Robinson. They did this, and he loved it! Limp Bizkit then landed a tour with House of Pain and another with the Deftones. Limp Bizkit chose to sign with Flip Records, after carefully considering all of the deals. Produced by Ross Robinson and DJ Lethal (House of Pain), Limp Bizkit's astonishing debut album Three Dollar Bill, Y'all$ was definitely dope. Damn what a great combo that was. Limp's debut album was there ticket to fame and fortune, and now everyone knows who Limp Bizkit is.
